And it stresses that targetingspecific consumer characteristics will be a key success factor among companies positioning next-generation connected TV devices and digital media services. Companies that are making an effort to bridge Internet content to the TV — Apple, Netflix, Amazon and Vudu are examples of those combining online digital media services with dedicated digital media adapters to bridge the Internet into the connected living room. This is the new IPTV — this is what consumer want and this is what will transform the industry.
