Good lord! We just read this blog by Parks Associates that says that one-fifth of all U.S. heads-of-household ( is head of household code for “males” or “females”) have never used e-mail! I am totally in shock, although this might actually involve my husband’s parents who still cringe at the thought of typing an email to communicate… “who will read it”, “i don’t want the government to know who I am talking to,” the list goes on….
But this does explain the disparity between just about everything that happens in this great land – voters in the middle say one thing – voters on the East coast say another and the fact is, that in the end, there are those that blaze a path for the others (let’s try it all – Twitter, Skype, Facebook, blogging, WiMAX, MobileTV, the Blue M&M, virtual social networking, IM, SMS, MMS) – and take the red pill and others that just are.
