Today I head the ever charismatic Tommy Ahlers present ZYB to packed room of investors. Is this the same ZYB from March at VME Cannes? Nope, this ZYB is alluring, pratical and humble and at the same time innovative and allowing users to really, finally and ultimately use their contacts in their mobile phone for real. ZYB claims that you don’t create contacts online, you already have them and have had them for about a decade stored in your mobile phone. Duh. Those are the people in your “network” those are the people you have a relationship with. Duh. This is so obvious and yet the world just flew right past it and was lured into creating networks with strangers. ZYB lets you bring that network online – and then do social things with them – events, calendars, etc. Its really quite smart. And you don’t have to be 15 to get it – I have over 200 contacts in my phone and I want to be close to them. ZYB is all grown up.
